Q1. (a) What are the decisions made by an Operations Manager in Hospital? Discuss in detail.

 

(b) Coca-Cola is called a global product. Does it mean that coca-cola is formulated in the same way throughout the World? Discuss in detail.

 (b) What are the basic types of plant layout? How cellular layout differ from a process layout? Discuss in detail.

 

Q3. (a) List the techniques used by service organisation to select locations. Contrast the location of a food distributor and a supermarket. Show the relevant consideration they share; show those where they differ.

 

(b) How would you define a good quality of work life? Discuss.
